The Ghana Bureau of Statistics (GSS) stated that as of the 12th day of the 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC), 80% of households have been enumerated.
GSS said at a press conference on Sunday that the North East had the highest record, with 97% of households being checked, while Greater Accra had the lowest record at 55%.
The Service said the remaining regions achieved at least 70 per cent enumeration.
It was further revealed that the remaining regions were able to achieve at least 70% of the count.
It stated that out of 272 statistical areas, 181 are conducting exercises, which is expected to officially end today.
