The Electoral Commission (EC) convened a meeting with political parties, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), and donor partners on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, under the framework of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC).

The meeting focused on discussing the re-exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register (PVR), which will be held from Tuesday, October 15 to Saturday, October 19, 2024.
During the session, the EC provided digital copies of the updated provisional register to all political parties and independent candidates.
This initiative aims to enable the parties and candidates to identify any inconsistencies in the revised voters’ register and communicate these to the Commission.
The newly revised voters’ register represents an enhancement of the initial version exhibited in August this year.
The EC emphasized its dedication to transparency, acknowledging the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for highlighting concerns with the PVR, which demonstrates the Commission’s openness to feedback.
Voters can verify their details using the shortcode 71151# or by visiting the EC’s website.
The EC encourages the public to report any discrepancies in their records to the district offices for corrections during the re-exhibition period.
The Commission also noted that corrections would not be possible after the re-exhibition period ends on October 19, though online verification will remain available.
Additionally, the EC has supplied political parties with a list of the 40,647 Polling Stations and 328 Special Voters across the country.
