Zeinab Muhammad Ali, a mother of two and a nurse working at the Tamale Teaching Hospital’s Emergency Burns Unit Red Zone, is accused of scalding her husband with boiling water during a dispute.
The altercation reportedly arose from the husband’s refusal to grant her access to his car, leading to severe burn injuries for the husband.
The injured husband is currently receiving medical care at the Tamale Teaching Hospital, while the alleged perpetrator is reported to be evading authorities.
Mr. Nuru Rahaman Iddrisu, the victim’s uncle, confirmed the incident and expressed the family’s demand for justice, urging the removal of the suspect from her position.
“We are demanding that as far as work ethics is concerned she should be removed from her post because she is a danger to patients at the facility”.He made an appeal, emphasizing the importance of ensuring justice for the victim.
