Musician and politician Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has responded to the police invitation regarding his claim of having information about Ahmed Suale’s death.

In a Facebook post shortly after news of the police invitation, A Plus stated that he will be present at the Ghana Police headquarters at 2pm on Monday, July [date to be specified], promising to speak “nothing but the truth.”
The police invitation for A Plus to assist in the ongoing investigation into the death of Ahmed Suale follows his recent statements on social media claiming to possess information relevant to the case.
The police issued a statement on Monday, July 15, inviting A Plus to assist in the ongoing investigation into the death of Ahmed Suale, which has been under investigation since the unfortunate incident occurred.

“The Cold Case Unit established in October 2021, under the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to handle cases of this nature has been working on the investigation into the case and closely engaging with the deceased’s family,” the police stated.
“The Police is therefore pleased that Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng (A-Plus) has made indication that he has some information that could assist the ongoing investigation, and he has been invited accordingly,” the statement added.
Ahmed Suale, aged 31, was an investigative journalist who worked with Tiger Eye PI, the investigative firm founded by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
