Ablakwa accepts appointment as chairman of Mahama’s Anti-Corruption unit

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has expressed his sincere gratitude and sense of responsibility after being appointed Chairman of the newly established anti-corruption unit, Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), by President-elect John Dramani Mahama.

In a post on his Facebook page, Ablakwa wrote: “I humbly accept to chair this ORAL Team with a profound sense of duty, integrity, and patriotism. We are grateful to President-elect H.E. John Mahama for the confidence reposed in us. For God and Country. Ghana First 🇬🇭 🙏🏾.”

The ORAL Team is a key component of President-elect Mahama’s plan to combat corruption, ensure accountability, and recover misappropriated state resources. This initiative forms part of Mahama’s campaign promises to tackle corruption and restore public trust in government.

The formation of the ORAL Team was announced through a statement from Mahama’s Transition Team. The unit will focus on gathering information from the public and other sources regarding suspected corruption cases.
