Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the North Tongu Legislator, has countered Bryan Acheampong’s denial of his claims about Rock City Hotel’s financial struggles.
Ablakwa had previously alleged that he had obtained documents showing the hotel’s losses and unpaid taxes, making it unfit to acquire the profitable SSNIT hotels.

However, Acheampong dismissed Ablakwa’s claims as exaggerations and dared him to produce evidence.
In a recent interview on The Keypoints, Ablakwa reaffirmed his stance, stating that he has documents to support his claims and cannot speak without evidence as a lawmaker.
He shared the documents with the host, Alfred Ocansey, to substantiate his claims.
Ablakwa cited a previous instance where he intercepted documents contradicting the Finance Minister’s statement on the National Cathedral’s funding, proving his credibility.
Acheampong had offered to gift his Trassaco house to Ablakwa if he could provide evidence of Rock City Hotel’s losses, but Ablakwa maintains that Acheampong is misinformed and unaware of the facts.
Ablakwa explained that as a lawmaker, he cannot make claims without evidence, and his previous experiences have shown that his assertions are often proven true.
The exchange highlights the ongoing dispute over the sale of SSNIT hotels and the transparency of Rock City Hotel’s financial dealings.
Ablakwa’s persistence in pushing for accountability and transparency has led to a heated debate, with Acheampong denying any wrongdoing and challenging Ablakwa to provide concrete evidence.
