President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana has appointed Abu Jinapor as the caretaker Minister for Trade and Industry, replacing Ken Ofori-Atta who was recently appointed.
Hon. Abu Jinapor is a Member of Parliament for Damango Constituency in the Northern Region of Ghana. He is a lawyer by profession and has served in various capacities in the government of Ghana. He was the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources from 2017 to 2020 and the Deputy Minister for Information from 2020 to 2021.
