The head coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton, has emphasized that his players are well-informed about the necessary measures to achieve the desired outcome in their last group-stage match at the 2020 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana is set to take on Mozambique today, aiming to secure their initial three points in the tournament after facing setbacks in their first two matches.

The Black Stars suffered a defeat in their opening game against Cape Verde and, in their second fixture, relinquished a lead twice to settle for a draw against Egypt.

Addressing the press yesterday ahead of today’s game,

Houghton said “The players know what it will take to get a result. There are no easy games in this tournament.

“We have to be physically and mentally prepared for this”.

A victory for Ghana today would elevate their total points to four, potentially securing the second position depending on the outcomes of the match between Egypt and Cape Verde.
