The 74th minute saw M. Kudus once again restoring the lead for Ghana. However, Egypt quickly responded, and in the same 74th minute, M. Mohamed equalized for Egypt following a defensive lapse by the Black Stars.
As a result of this draw, Ghana finds itself at the bottom of Group B, while Egypt holds the second position.
