
Akosua Manu has organized a free healthcare programmes for her constituents She is currently the Deputy CEO in charge of Finance and Administration at the National Youth Authority (NYA) and parliamentary aspirant for New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The health screening initiative, dubbed ‘Kozie Cares Medical Outreach,’ which began on Thursday, September 14, 2023, is expected to end on Friday, September 22, 2023.
According to her, healthcare is a fundamental right that should not be compromised, and is determined to work tirelessly to ensure that the people she aspires to represent are provided this basic requirement.
Speaking further, she emphasized the importance of regular check-ups, accessible and quality healthcare for residents of Adentan.
The health care exercise includes check-ups, free national health insurance registration and renewals for 16 electoral areas in Adentan.
Areas to benefit from this exercise includes Otanor, Nmai Djorn, Adjiringano, Ogbojo, Nii Ashale East and West, New Adentan East and West, Man-Hee, Gbentanaa North and South, New Legon, Amrahia Marhejor, among others.
Kozie as she is fondly called spoke concerning the upcoming parliamentary elections. She stressed the significance of conducting a clean campaign to unite the party ahead of victory. She also cautioned flag bearer aspirants to maintain fair and transparent campaign.
Many also promised to use her sterling leadership and experience to unite the party, especially at the constituency level, and mobilize grassroots members to win back the NPP seat as well as help break the eight years’ governance cycle.
Kozie further underlined the need for collaboration between government agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector to drive sustainable development and create opportunities for the youth.
