The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has reiterated the commitment of President Akufo-Addo commitment to ensure Ghana adds value to its green minerals.

Whiles speaking at Bloomberg New Economy Africa Conference, held at Marrakech, Morocco, the Minister noted that ‘Under no circumstances will Ghana export its lithium and other green minerals in their raw state’’. He added that the country must work to ‘’benefit from the 7 trillion US Dollars value of the full industry rather than the 11 billion US Dollars for the mere mining of these minerals’’
The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources also took the opportunity to call on countries across the globe, to move from talk to action on climate issues whiles stressing ‘’the need for developed countries to step up and honour their climate promises.’’
