President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is set to commission several significant infrastructure projects across the Ashanti Region today, November 25, 2024, as part of his three-day campaign tour.

The President’s visits will highlight the government’s commitment to improving healthcare, transportation, and public service infrastructure.
His first stop will be Drobonso in the Sekyere Afram Plains District, where he will officially commission the Sekyere Afram Plains District Hospital.
The state-of-the-art facility is expected to enhance healthcare delivery in the district and surrounding areas, offering modern medical services to the people. This is part of the government’s broader effort to improve healthcare accessibility in rural Ghana.
Following this, President Akufo-Addo will travel to Sabronum in the Ahafo Ano South-East District, where he will inaugurate another district hospital. This facility, like the one in Drobonso, aims to reduce the burden on urban hospitals and provide better health services to local communities.
The President will then head to Trede in Atwima Kwanwoma District, where he will commission a third district hospital, further cementing his administration’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure in the region.
Later in the day, the President will visit Bantama to commission the Atafoa-Owabi River Bridge, which is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve transportation connectivity between key areas in the region.
The tour will conclude in Suame, where President Akufo-Addo will commission the Suame Municipal Hospital, a major healthcare investment aimed at addressing the medical needs of the Suame Municipality and its surrounding districts.
Finally, in Adum, the President will unveil the new office complex of the Audit Service, a project designed to enhance the operational efficiency of the Audit Service in delivering public sector accountability and financial oversight.
These projects are part of the President’s broader agenda to drive development, improve public services, and create a more accessible and equitable society for all Ghanaians.
