Hassan Ayariga, the flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC), has criticized Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the Presidential Candidate of the Movement for Change, for lacking a compelling campaign message.

Although Kyerematen’s Great Transformational Plan (GTP) aims to revitalize Ghana’s economy, Ayariga contends that it does not adequately address the country’s economic challenges.

He further argues that Kyerematen’s association with the Akufo-Addo government, which he claims has mismanaged the economy, disqualifies him from leading the nation in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Ayariga boldly stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is synonymous with Kyerematen, suggesting they share the same ideologies and shortcomings.

Speaking on Face to Face on Channel One TV, he asserted that both the NPP and Kyerematen should be voted out in the 2024 elections.

“Alan, in one way or another, I don’t want to use certain terms, but I would classify him as part of the class of C and G. This political grading indicates why he’s running for president because he has been part of a government that has failed.

He anticipated not winning the flagbearership race, which is why he withdrew to form his movement. I ask, what’s the difference between Alan and the NPP? If the NPP is bad, then Alan is bad. If the NPP is good, then Alan is good.

So, Alan has no message; his message is non-existent. All these people following him will find that after 2024, Alan will be gone. It’s just a movement, and after the 2024 election, that movement will lose its identity.”

Furthermore, he stated that the New Force presidential candidate, Nana Kwame Bediako, commonly known as Cheddar, lacks any ideas that could effectively improve the country.

“I don’t see Cheddar presenting any policies that can change this country.”
