The contestants are: Hatie for Upper West, Darkowaa for Ahafo, Nana for Western North, Minkaya for North East, Peprah for Eastern, Etiapa for Central, Owusuaa for Bono East, and Awuraa for Bono.
The Northern Region will be represented by Maltiti, the Upper East Region by Hama, the Western Region by Abena, Afriyie for the Ashanti Region, Makafui for the Volta Region, Titiaka for the Savannah Region, Naa Ameley for the Greater Accra Region, and Nana Yaa for the Oti Region.
The judges for this year’s contest, Dzigbodi Kokudosu, Janet Sunkwa Mills, and Comfort Ocran, shared their expectations for the contestants.
“The standards keep going up every year. We are expecting an amazing 2024 with amazing standards and my rule is influence and difference so when they come in, we are expecting serious results. We are going to challenge us, we are going to make it difficult for us to select every single win,” Dzigbodi Kokudosu said.
“This year our job is going to be really challenging because these girls are smart. The winner would definitely have to have earned their place because it is going to be tough. GMB is a power brand and we want the Queen to be a power brand as well,” Janet Sunkwa Mills noted.
“They have a fantastic test this year and one thing that I am looking forward to is to see how their values as individuals show forth in everything that they do with their creativity, in how they project themselves to the public,” Comfort Ocran stated.
