In a recent lawsuit naming both men, Christian Combs, the son of rapper, producer, and businessman Sean “Diddy” Combs, faces allegations of sexual assault. Filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the 31-page lawsuit was submitted on Thursday, as confirmed by Grace O’Marcaigh, the plaintiff’s attorney.

According to the lawsuit, O’Marcaigh worked as a crew member and bartender on a yacht rented by Sean Combs and his family in December 2022. While the excursion was initially marketed as a wholesome family outing, the lawsuit claims it evolved into a hedonistic environment, with suspected sex workers and other celebrities frequently brought on board.

The lawsuit alleges that on December 28, in the early morning hours, Christian Combs coerced O’Marcaigh into consuming a shot of tequila and then assaulted her. O’Marcaigh suspects that the tequila, which she claims was supplied by Christian Combs, might have been spiked with drugs.

Sean Combs is not accused of sexual assault in the lawsuit but is implicated in claims of liability and aiding and abetting. Aaron Dyer, representing both Sean and Christian Combs, stated to CNN that they consider the lawsuit to contain “fabricated falsehoods and irrelevant details” and intend to pursue its dismissal as an “unfounded allegation.”

The latest lawsuit against Sean Combs is part of a series and comes after federal investigators searched his residences in Los Angeles and Miami last week.

Prior lawsuits have accused him of various sexual misconduct and other illegal behaviors, all of which Combs has denied. The lawsuit refers to an audio recording from a makeshift studio on the yacht, identified by O’Marcaigh as the location where the alleged assault started.

A partial transcript from the recording shows O’Marcaigh being pressured to consume a shot and questioning Christian Combs, “Are you drugging me?” Combs responded, “Take the shot.” CNN has reviewed the audio recordings and can confirm the accuracy of the transcript presented in the lawsuit.

Apart from the tense exchange reportedly between Combs and O’Marcaigh, Cassie’s 2006 pop hit “Me & U,” featuring Sean “Diddy” Combs, can be heard playing in the background. Cassie, also known as Casandra Ventura, is Diddy’s ex-girlfriend.

She has claimed that she was raped and endured years of ongoing physical and other forms of abuse by the music mogul. While on the yacht, Christian Combs allegedly “cornered” O’Marcaigh in a room and acted in a “physically and extremely aggressive” manner, according to the lawsuit.

The filing states that Combs grabbed O’Marcaigh’s arm and attempted to force himself on her, only stopping when another yacht employee entered the room. Photos submitted with the court filing seem to indicate bruises on the plaintiff’s forearm.

After the alleged assault, O’Marcaigh’s mental and physical health reportedly declined, as stated in the lawsuit. The filing mentions that she started experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, and other related issues. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
