Andrew Ameyaw NPP constituency chairman quits

Andrew Ameyaw the Nkawkaw constituency chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has resigned from his position to begin what he describes as a new chapter in his political career.

According to the letter sent to the party, the resignation is said to take effect from September 19, 2023.

 Ameyaw explained that he resigned to contest the Parliamentary Primaries of the party when nomination is opened for non- orphan constituencies.

He believes he can help the party maximize its votes to retain the parliamentary seat which is their stronghold and impact the presidential election to enable their victory

Meanwhile, the current incumbent NPP Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw constituency is Joseph frempong.it is however not certain if he will seek a reelection next year.
