Nana Kwadjo Asamoah, Director of Special Initiatives at Angel Group of Companies, has called on Ghanaians to turn to local herbal medicine for improved health and well-being, stressing that nature’s remedies offer the key to longevity and wellness.

Speaking on YFM during the unveiling of Angel Rock Mixture, he highlighted the product’s effectiveness in relieving waist and body pains, flushing out toxins, and providing overall refreshment.
He assured the public that the mixture underwent thorough testing to guarantee both safety and potency.
“We conducted extensive product sampling with individuals experiencing headaches and waist pains. The testing and tasting process was very successful, which is why we’ve now released the product to the market,” he stated.
Nana Kwadjo Asamoah, Director of Special Initiatives at Angel Group of Companies, has urged Ghanaians to embrace herbal medicine, reflecting on the role traditional healing practices played in sustaining generations before the advent of modern hospitals and pharmaceuticals.
“In the days of old, when there were no doctors available in Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s era, our forefathers were very healthy because they prioritised local herbs for curing diseases and even included them in their meals,” he noted.
Sharing memories from his childhood in the village, Nana Kwadjo Asamoah recalled how herbal remedies were part of daily life.
“I remember how herbal medicines were prepared in pots. Everyone took a dose before heading to school, and we were so strong we could walk long distances without struggle,” he revealed.
Despite the proven benefits of herbal medicine, Nana Kwadjo Asamoah acknowledged that lack of standardisation was a major issue in the past.
However, he praised the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) for revolutionising the industry by ensuring herbal products meet quality and safety standards before reaching the market.
Nana Kwadjo Asamoah introduced Angel Rock Mixture as a genuine health solution rather than merely a profit-making venture.
“Not all herbal medicine manufacturers are in it for money. Some of us, like Angel Group, are focused on truly helping people regain their health,” he emphasised.
Addressing skeptics, Nana Kwadjo Asamoah urged Ghanaians to give herbal medicine a try.
“Our forefathers lived longer than many Westerners because they never joked with their herbs. If you’ve never used herbal medicine, just try Angel Rock Mixture, and you’ll feel the difference!”
