Arsenal secured a 3-1 victory over Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday, extending their unbeaten run this season.

Coming off a dominant win against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, Arsenal entered the match expecting an easy win over the struggling Saints.

However, Southampton shocked the home crowd by taking the lead in the 55th minute when Cameron Archer scored his first Premier League goal following his summer transfer from Aston Villa.

Arsenal quickly responded just three minutes later, with Kai Havertz netting his seventh consecutive goal at home. The Gunners regained control, and after introducing Gabriel Martinelli just after the hour mark, he made an immediate impact by volleying home a cross from Bukayo Saka in the 68th minute. Saka, who assisted the first two goals, then added a third goal himself, sealing the win for Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Manchester City faced Fulham at the Etihad Stadium, where they overcame an early deficit to win 3-2. Fulham took the lead through Andreas Pereira’s goal, assisted by an impressive backheel from Raul Jimenez.

However, City’s Mateo Kovacic equalized shortly after, followed by a second goal just two minutes into the second half. Jeremy Doku then added a third for City, putting them ahead comfortably.

Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz pulled one back late in the game, but City held on for a crucial win.

In other matches, West Ham eased pressure on their new manager, Julen Lopetegui, with a 4-1 victory over Ipswich, while Leicester secured their first league win of the season, defeating Bournemouth 1-0.

The action continues as Manchester United prepares for a crucial match against Aston Villa on Sunday.
