Arsenal scored twice in stoppage time to clinch a dramatic victory over Leicester on Saturday afternoon.

A 94th-minute own goal by Wilfred Ndidi and a close-range strike from Kai Havertz in the ninth minute of stoppage time denied a Leicester side that had fought back to level the score after trailing by two goals in the second half.

Gabriel Martinelli gave the dominant Gunners a well-deserved lead in the first half, directing Jurrien Timber’s cross into the net. He also assisted the second goal, which was converted by Leandro Trossard just before halftime.
Leicester had managed only one touch in the Arsenal area before the break but reduced the deficit early in the second half when James Justin’s header from Facundo Buonanotte’s free-kick deflected off Havertz and into the goal.
Justin then equalized spectacularly shortly after the hour mark, volleying home Ndidi’s left-wing delivery, which beat David Raya off the inside of the post.
Though Arsenal were briefly stunned by Leicester’s comeback, they quickly regained their composure.
Mads Hermansen made two excellent saves to keep the Foxes level, denying Havertz at point-blank range and stopping Trossard’s shot shortly after a mistake in his own area.
However, Trossard’s late effort deflected off Ndidi and past the Danish goalkeeper, allowing Havertz to add the finishing touch from close range.
The victory brings Arsenal level on points with Manchester City, who could be surpassed by Liverpool if they defeat Wolves in Saturday’s late match.
