Arsenal’s pursuit of the Premier League title suffered a setback after a 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

The result leaves the Gunners six points behind league leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.

Fulham took an early lead when Raul Jimenez fired a superb shot past David Raya in the 11th minute, capitalizing on defensive gaps in Arsenal’s makeshift backline.

However, William Saliba equalized for the visitors, converting a header from Kai Havertz off a well-taken corner.

Arsenal’s dominance in set-pieces continued to shine, but they struggled to break down Fulham’s resilient defense.

Thomas Partey missed a golden opportunity to secure a win, heading wide from a Declan Rice corner. Bukayo Saka thought he had clinched a late winner, only for VAR to disallow the goal due to an offside in the buildup.

The draw ends Arsenal’s four-game winning streak and puts their title ambitions under pressure. Chelsea, currently third, have the chance to overtake the Gunners if they avoid defeat against Tottenham later in the day.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Leicester staged a dramatic comeback to hold Brighton 2-2 at the King Power Stadium.

Late goals from Jamie Vardy and Bobby De Cordova-Reid overturned Brighton’s two-goal lead, snatching a valuable point for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side.

At Portman Road, Bournemouth pulled off a stunning turnaround to beat Ipswich 2-1. Trailing 1-0, late strikes from substitutes Enes Unal and Dango Ouattara sealed the Cherries’ victory, leaving Ipswich rooted in the relegation zone.

As the season heats up, Arsenal must regroup quickly to keep their title hopes alive, with more tough fixtures on the horizon.
