According to English portal, the Daily Star, the legendary Ghanaian footballer received £23.6million (24 million Cedis approx) for the eight goals he scored in 26 matches for Shanghai SIPG.

Gyan joined the Chinese side after three successful seasons with Al Ain for an amount of £8million.
