Asante Kotoko have finalized the signing of Saaka Dauda from Bofoakwa Tano.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who led his previous team to the FA Cup final, has agreed to a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors.

Dauda, recognized for his dynamic playmaking and goal-scoring skills, scored eight goals and made three assists in the Ghana Premier League last season, making him a highly sought-after player.

Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his excitement about the acquisition, highlighting Dauda’s leadership and technical prowess.

“Saaka Dauda is a player of remarkable talent and character,” Ogum said. “His ability to influence the game both offensively and defensively makes him an invaluable asset. His leadership experience will be crucial as we aim to compete at the highest levels.”

Dauda, excited to join Kotoko, said, “Joining Asante Kotoko is a dream come true for me.

After leading Bofoakwa Tano to the MTN FA Cup final, I am eager to bring that same level of dedication and passion to this esteemed club. I am here to work hard and help the team reach new heights.”

This signing marks Kotoko’s seventh acquisition of the transfer window as the club continues to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season.
