Renowned sports journalist Jeffrey Asare has cautioned Black Stars forward Mohammed Kudus to exercise humility and respect towards Ghanaians, lest he fails to reach his full potential.

Asare’s remarks come on the heels of Kudus’ underwhelming performance in recent games, which drew criticism from some Ghanaian fans.

Asare emphasized that Kudus’ talent is average, but with the right attitude, he could become a top player.

He reminded Kudus that the Black Stars have a rich history of talented players, including Stephen Appiah, who never disrespected fans despite achieving more in football than Kudus.

Asare urged Kudus to emulate Appiah’s maturity and ignore criticisms, advising him to focus on his game rather than responding to fans.

He warned that Kudus’ insolence could hinder his growth and potential, stressing that the national team belongs to Ghanaians, and no player is bigger than the team.

Kudus had responded to fan criticism on social media, telling them to be quiet and not comment on his game.

However, Asare believes Kudus needs to adopt a more humble approach to reach his full potential and become a true asset to the Black Stars.
