The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has called on party members to disregard a letter circulating regarding the submission of constituency nominees for appointments.
In a statement dated December 25, 2024, Ashie Moore clarified that he had no knowledge of such a directive from the national leadership of the party.
He stressed that the regional executive committee had neither been informed nor approved the directive.
“This is solely the decision of the Regional Secretary, made without reference to established party structures. I urge all members to disregard the letter with the seriousness it deserves,” Moore declared.
He further assured party members that the transition team of the President-Elect is diligently working towards a successful handover and is focused on delivering the top 10 policies to be implemented within the first 120 days in office.
