Johnson Asiedu Nketia, National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged supporters in the Volta Region to vote in large numbers in the upcoming general elections.
He expressed concern over the region’s declining voter turnout, emphasizing that complacency among supporters could jeopardize the NDC’s chances of victory.

Asiedu Nketia highlighted that a strong turnout from the Volta Region is crucial to balancing opposition votes from other areas, making the region’s participation key to the party’s overall strategy.
He also stressed the importance of every supporter exercising their right to vote, encouraging them not to be discouraged by intimidation or challenges.
Additionally, he called on voters to motivate those who may be hesitant to participate.
His comments came during his four-day tour of the Volta Region.
