George Agyei Frimpong, a middle-aged Assemblyman representing the Oguaa Electoral Area in the New Juaben South Municipality, tragically lost his life due to electrocution on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
In a selfless act of service, he attempted to assist residents by using a ladder to fix overhead bulbs when the incident occurred.
Despite being quickly rushed to the Koforidua Central Regional Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries after a few hours.
His untimely death has left his family and the community in shock and mourning as they come to terms with the loss of a dedicated representative committed to improving the lives of his constituents.
The Police have been notified and are currently investigating the incident.
