Ato Forson reaffirms Govt’s dedication to 24-hour economy in 2025 budget

Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has reaffirmed the government’s dedication to the 24-Hour Economy Policy as a key component of the 2025 budget presentation.

This policy seeks to transform Ghana’s economy by promoting continuous, round-the-clock economic activities, aimed at enhancing productivity and driving economic growth.

While presenting the 2025 Budget Statement and Economic Policy in Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, Dr. Ato Forson emphasized the crucial role of the 24-Hour Economy Policy in tackling the country’s economic challenges.

“We remain committed to the pursuit of the 24-Hour Economy Policy,” he stated, emphasising that the policy is crucial for enhancing our economic resilience and ensuring sustainable growth,” he stated.

Dr Forson further noted that the government will present the policy to Parliament in due course.
