President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stressed the importance of boosting investment in human capital to foster sustainable growth.

During his speech at the 50th anniversary of Arab-Africa Cooperation and the launch of the Arab-Africa Financial Consortium, he underscored the vital role of education and skills development in achieving this goal.
“One of the key pillars of our partnership is our investment in human capital. Education and skills development are essential in unlocking the potential of our people and driving sustainable growth.
BADEA’s significant contribution includes supporting numerous education and training programs across Africa. However, there is still much work to be done,” he said.
He emphasized the importance of ensuring that every child in Africa and the Arab world has access to quality education and highlighted the need to invest in vocational training and higher education to prepare individuals for the 21st-century economy. By doing so, he believes a more inclusive and prosperous future can be created for all citizens.
“We must re-double our efforts to ensure that every child in Africa and the Arab world has access to quality education. We must also invest in vocational training and higher education to equip our people with the skills they will need to thrive in the economy of the 21st Century,” he added.
By investing in human capital, the president added, “we can create a more inclusive and prosperous future for our citizens.”
