Philippe Coutinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have both been named in the Barcelona flops XI in the 21st century in a list which also includes two former Arsenal stars Alex Song and Vermaelen.

But despite been given the chance to play for Barcelona, there are still some stars who failed to impress at the Nou Camp before they left.
And one of them is Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho who joined Barcelona from Premier League giants Liverpool.
Coutinho was in the best form of his life before he left Liverpool, but since he got to Barcelona, he failed to find his rhythm which forced the club to loan him to Bayern Munich.
In 2009, Barcelona signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but the Swede only played for a season at Nou Camp before being sold after row with former boss Pep Guardiola.
Former Arsenal star Alex Song who was also on the list did not succeed at Barcelona because of injuries and played less than 40 La Liga games before he was allowed to leave in 2016.
Thomas Vermaelen on the other hand spent five years at Barcelona and was disturbed by injuries before leaving the side playing only 34 games.
Yerry Mina who is also on the list played for Barcelona for only six months before he was shipped out to Premier League side Everton.
