Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong has called on Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, in Saturday’s general elections.
Speaking at the NPP’s final rally at the University of Ghana on December 5, Mr. Agyapong praised Dr. Bawumia’s tireless campaign efforts, emphasizing his readiness to deliver more for the country if elected.
“My good friend, the Vice President, Dr. Bawumia, has worked very hard. He has toured all the constituencies, which shows that he will do more for Ghanaians as president,” Agyapong stated.
He also highlighted the NPP’s track record, asserting that the party focuses on every aspect of national development whenever in government.
Adding to the endorsement, former President John Agyekum Kufuor encouraged Ghanaians to make the right choice by voting for Dr. Bawumia. He noted that Ghana’s future lies in capable hands with the NPP, as it remains the party to propel the nation forward.
The rally marked a vibrant conclusion to the NPP’s campaign ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Speaking during the final rally of the NPP at the University of Ghana Sports Park on December 5, he said, “The future is in your hands. You have to make the right decision to choose your leader. So, on Saturday, vote for Dr. Bawumia, and you will see how Ghana will move ahead.”
He added, “It’s only the NPP that can move Ghana ahead. All over Ghana, we’re the preferred party because, in the few opportunities we have had, we have used the principles our forefathers taught us.”
