Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on the people of Ejura Sekyedumase to change their voting pattern and support the NPP in the upcoming December elections for greater development in the constituency.

During his visit to Ejura Sekyedumase in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, November 13, Dr. Bawumia addressed thousands of residents, urging them to reconsider their long-standing loyalty to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and switch their support to the NPP.

He emphasized that voting for the NPP would bring about more meaningful development, job opportunities, and better infrastructure for the constituency.
Bawumia outlined his vision for the area, highlighting key initiatives aimed at improving education, healthcare, and youth employment.
He pointed to the successes of the NPP government, particularly in areas like digitization, infrastructure development, and the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises, as evidence of what the party has been able to achieve.
He further emphasized that with the right leadership, Ejura Sekyedumase would experience accelerated development.

Responding to concerns raised by residents about the potential impact of his presidency on local agriculture, Bawumia reassured the farmers in the area that their interests would be a top priority.
He dismissed claims that his administration would empower Fulani herdsmen to damage farmlands, insisting that the NPP was committed to protecting agriculture, which is a key part of the constituency’s livelihood.
“We understand the importance of agriculture to your lives, and I assure you that under my leadership, we will continue to prioritize the welfare of farmers, ensuring that agricultural activities are protected and supported,” Bawumia said.
He also acknowledged the challenges the constituency faces, including issues related to infrastructure and unemployment, and pledged to work with local leaders to address these concerns.
Bawumia stressed that voting for the NPP would bring fresh leadership with a proven track record of delivering on promises.
Dr. Bawumia’s call to Ejura Sekyedumase to change their voting pattern comes ahead of the 2024 general elections, where the NPP is seeking to retain power and continue its developmental agenda.
