Frederick Opare-Ansah, campaign manager for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has voiced strong confidence in Bawumia’s presidential potential, asserting that he would surpass former President John Mahama’s performance if elected.
In an interview on Citi FM’s Eyewitness News on Friday, Opare-Ansah highlighted Bawumia’s accomplishments as Vice President, noting his effective leadership in various initiatives despite the constraints of his role.
“If you compare Dr. Bawumia with the alternative, which is John Mahama, it’s evident that during his time as Vice President, he has shown he could perform far better than Mahama did as president,” Opare-Ansah stated.
He further defended the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s economic management, emphasizing that, despite challenges, they have not failed to uphold the economy.
