Bediatuo Asante hospitalized in US after falling Ill, currently responding to treatment

The Jubilee House has announced that Nana Asante Bediatuo, the Executive Secretary to the President and Ambassador-at-Large, is undergoing medical treatment in the US after falling ill.

According to a statement from the Jubilee House, doctors are currently attending to the newly appointed Ambassador-at-Large, who is responding well to treatment.

“Following the conclusion of the meeting of the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, in the United States of America, where he served as a key member of President Akufo-Addo’s delegation, Nana Bediatuo Asante stayed behind to conduct further government business. He then began to feel unwell and was subsequently admitted to hospital.

“He is currently in stable condition and responding well to treatment. According to the medical team, Nana Bediatuo Asante’s recovery is on track, and we remain hopeful for his swift return to full strength,” part of the statement read.

The statement continued: “We ask for continued prayers and support for him and his family during this difficult period. Further updates will be provided when necessary.”
