With only two years in the music scene under her belt , Hot Girl Summer leader Meg bags the collab of the decade with fellow Houston native Beyoncé on her famous track Savage. Two months after releasing her album ‘Suga’ which included the original Savage track , the Houston hottie called on the Queen for a collaboration to raise funds to support Houston based charity ‘Bread of Life ‘ to support locals during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The original track became popular when social media influencers took the track on and created a TikTok challenge with the ‘Savage Dance’. Megan took to Instagram live to express her joy and to also express how happy and proud her mother would have been for this collab as her mother was the biggest Beyoncé fan. Megan’s mother passed away in March of 2019. She states in the live that ‘Manifestation is real’ after she reveals she has been manifesting a collaboration of this magnitude. In an interview with American station Power 105.1 in 2018 she states “Well, we’re going to pray to Jesus Christ that it happens, but I really want to do a song with Beyonce. I love me some Beyonce. That’ll just be crazy,”
