Ghana’s Black Princesses are wrapping up their training camp in Accra on Monday in preparation for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

The team has been training intensively in Cape Coast since June 27, working on tactical strategies, physical conditioning, and team cohesion.

A friendly match in Accra on Monday will be their final test before they head to Colombia.

Ghana will be in Group E with Austria, Japan, and New Zealand. The team hopes to go further in the tournament this time after struggling in their past six attempts.

After winning the 2023 African Games and the WAFU B Girls Cup, the Black Princesses are confident they can do well on the world stage.

The tournament begins on August 31, and Ghana’s first match is on September 2 against Austria at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in Bogotá.
