Ghana’s U-20 football team, the Black Satellites, is gearing up for a crucial semi-final match against Ivory Coast in the WAFU Zone B Championship, with a spot in the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on the line.

The game will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Stade de Kegue in Togo.

The Black Satellites topped Group A with five points, while Ivory Coast placed second in Group B after a 2-1 loss to Nigeria.

This semi-final matchup will determine one of the two teams from the WAFU Zone B that will qualify for the U-20 AFCON.

Success in this tournament would not only bring Ghana closer to continental glory but also position the team for a shot at the 2025 U-20 World Cup in Chile, a competition they last appeared in back in 2015.
