The Black Stars of Ghana kicked off their training camp on Monday, with 11 players reporting for the first session in preparation for their critical doubleheader against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Among the players present were notable names such as Mohammed Kudus, Fatawu Issahaku, Isaac Afful, Frederick Asare, and Jordan Ayew.
An additional 14 players are set to join the squad as they intensify their preparations for the upcoming matches, which are scheduled to start on Thursday, October 10, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The team is determined to secure vital points in their quest for qualification to the prestigious tournament.
However, coach Otto Addo has had to make changes to the initial 25-man squad due to injuries affecting several key players.
This has led to a reshuffle as the team strives to field its strongest lineup possible for these important fixtures against Sudan.
As the Black Stars prepare for this significant challenge, fans are optimistic that the team will deliver strong performances and secure their place in the AFCON tournament.
