A group of NPP delegates in the Bosome Freho Constituency of the Ashanti Region have warned that they will take action against those trying to sabotage their newly elected Parliamentary Candidate, Nana Kwame Asafo Adjei Ayerh.

The delegates have urged these individuals to stop damaging the reputation of their candidate.

The delegates claim that Yaw Amoah Gyami and some unnamed party members are causing confusion to harm the party’s prospects.

The group stated that Yaw Amoah took the candidate to court to challenge his eligibility as the PC but lost the case. The court ordered Amoah to pay Gh¢15,000 to the delegates for damages.

The delegates are concerned that Mr. Amoah is now falsely spreading rumors that the parliamentary candidate has been barred by a high court, which is not true.

“He was asked by the court to pay Ghc15,000 after he had sent the PC to the court challenging his eligibility because the court found his claims were baseless.

Now he’s going about with the claims that the PC has been injuncted by the high court. He should come out with the injunction letter he’s claiming. It is never true.”

They have warned the saboteurs to desist from such evil acts or face their wrath.

“We want to state it emphatically that our PC is a credible candidate and any such attempt to tarnish his reputation would never succeed. We dare Mr. Yaw Gyami to come out with a letter to prove his court injunction claims,” they said.
