Famous Nigerian comic actor Brain Jotter recently shared his reaction to receiving a call from the producers of “You Play Me, I Play You.”
The play, a socio-cultural satire written by the late Efo Kodjo Mawugbe, features a stellar cast including Jeneral Ntatia (Ghana), Brain Jotter (Nigeria), and Clemento Suarez (Ghana), and is directed by Fiifi Coleman.

Produced by Africa Arts Network, the Ghana-Nigeria theatre collaboration had its media launch on September 5, 2024, at the Accra Tourist Information Centre (ATIC).
When asked about his initial reaction to being cast in the production, Brain Jotter admitted he laughed.

He explained, “First of all, I am very privileged for this project…I was laughing when the call came that I am part of this project… because I understand the rivalry, in a good way, between Ghana and Nigeria.” Known in real life as Chukwuebuka Emmanuel, he also expressed his affection for Ghana, saying, “I love Ghana.”
The play “You Play Me, I Play You” is scheduled to be staged at the National Theatre and Bukoom Square Arena on November 8 and 9.
