Cedi holds strong against major currencies

Today, on April 16, 2024, the Bank of Ghana’s interbank forex rates reveal that the Ghanaian Cedi is currently being traded against the US Dollar at buying and selling prices of 12.9907 and 13.0037, respectively.

The Cedi’s exchange rate against the Pound Sterling shows a buying price of 16.1942 and a selling price of 16.2117.The Euro is currently listed with a buying rate of 13.8270 and a selling rate of 13.8420.

The current exchange rate for the South African Rand indicates a purchase price of 0.6854 and a selling price of 0.6855.

The current exchange rate for the Nigerian Naira shows a purchase rate of 88.4821 and a selling rate of 89.2485.

For the CFA, it is trading at a buying price of47.3889 and a selling price of 47.4403.
