Chris Hughton, the coach of the Black Stars, has revealed the final 27-man squad for the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. The announcement took place during a press conference held at the Alisa Hotel, where Hughton not only unveiled the selected players but also fielded questions from the media.

Among the familiar faces in the squad are Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, and Daniel Amartey, among others. Notably absent from the list are Thomas Partey, Tariq Lamptey, Baba Rahman, Fatawu Issahaku, and Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Adding a local flavor to the squad are three players from the domestic scene, including Kotoko’s Richmond Lamptey and the Medeama duo of Hamid Abdul Fatawu and Jonathan Sowah.
