CLOGSAG calls off strike after reaching agreement with government

On July 12, 2024, a fruitful meeting took place between CLOGSAG and government representatives, leading to a breakthrough in the ongoing strike.

The discussions involved the Office of the Senior Presidential Adviser, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, and Fair Wages and Salaries Commission.

According to a statement released by CLOGSAG, the government has pledged to finalize the salary structure process by October 31, 2024, with implementation set for January 1, 2025.

In light of this agreement, CLOGSAG has decided to call off the strike effective immediately.
