Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, has issued a sincere call to Ghanaians to grant him the responsibility of managing the nation’s finances by voting for him in large numbers in the 2024 elections.

Highlighting his confidence in his own integrity, Dr. Bawumia promised to handle public funds with care, ensuring no misuse or misappropriation.
Speaking to the youth on Sunday, November 3, he reaffirmed his commitment to accountability, saying, “Your vote holds power. Trust me to safeguard the public purse and use it selflessly for your benefit.”
Dr. Bawumia urged all Ghanaians to take part in the December elections, stressing the significance of their participation. “Don’t disengage—be part of the December elections,” he encouraged.
He also shared his vision for Ghana’s future, pledging transformative policies that would drive the nation’s development.
With a strong commitment to addressing Ghana’s pressing challenges, Dr. Bawumia promised to work relentlessly and implement bold solutions if elected in 2024.
Acknowledging the country’s current economic struggles, such as debt pressures, declining reserves, and rising inflation, he expressed his dedication to building a brighter future for all citizens.
Dr. Bawumia’s promise comes at a critical time as Ghanaians seek practical solutions to lead the nation toward economic stability and progress.
“I’m determined to make a difference, a positive difference. I will work for you and with you, with honesty and integrity. With wisdom and decisiveness. I have clarity in my mind as to what I want to do from day one if you make me president.
“I will not ask for a honeymoon to cool off and think about what to do with the responsibility you will give me. I’m prepared and ready to work if you give me the opportunity. You know what I stand for, you know my vision, I believe in the ingenuity of the Ghanaians, together we can succeed in building a progressive society of possibilities, enterprise, compassion, open opportunities, and shared responsibilities of every Ghanaian-born rich or poor.”
He said confidently that he would serve the nation better as the next president, adding that he would solve problems confronting Ghana.
“I believe I will serve the nation better as your next President, I’m a problem-solving leader. I possess the integrity you require in your next president. I’m a visionary leader, I have exciting ideas for the 21st century.”
