Bishop Salifu Amoako, the head pastor of Alive Chapel International, and the mother of his son have been directed to file a complaint with the police concerning images of their son circulating in the media after a fatal accident in East Legon.

The couple, along with a third party, is currently on trial for allegedly permitting their 16-year-old son, who does not have a driver’s license, to operate a vehicle that led to the tragic deaths of two 12-year-old teenagers.
During their second court appearance since their arrest, the couple voiced concerns about images of their son being shared on social media.
Their lawyers cited the Judicial Justice Act, which prohibits the publication of minors’ faces, in an effort to have these images removed.
While the prosecution acknowledged the necessity of such an order, they raised concerns about the logistics of enforcement and who would be responsible for it.
Consequently, the court instructed the parents of the juvenile suspect to formally file a complaint with the Ghana Police Service regarding the unauthorized dissemination of their son’s images.
