Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his belief in Barcelona rising star Lamine Yamal, praising his potential to become a top player based on his recent performances with both FC Barcelona and the Spain national team.
In just over a year, Yamal has evolved from a promising talent to a recognized name in football.
At only 17 years old, this La Masia graduate is considered one of the finest young wingers in the sport, following his impressive play for Barcelona and a standout summer with Spain at Euro 2024.
Ronaldo has taken notice of Yamal’s exceptional skills, stating, “I see great potential and talent.
He needs a bit of luck because he is still very young. I hope he doesn’t encounter any problems,” during a discussion with Rio Ferdinand on his YouTube channel.
“Yes, the national team played a significant role in his development because he performed exceptionally well. I see great potential in him… If he continues on this path, he can achieve great things. I truly believe he will,” he added.
