Denzel Washington, 69, has revealed he will return as Robert McCall in two more Equalizer sequels.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Esquire magazine’s Winter 2024 edition, the iconic actor confirmed his commitment to continuing the vigilante action-thriller series, which has resonated with fans since its debut in 2014.

“I told them I would do another Equalizer, and we’re doing 4 and 5,” Washington shared, adding, “People are excited about it. The Equalizer films are for me too because they’re for the people. They want me to get the bad guys.”
Washington’s announcement comes as he gears up for the release of Gladiator 2, in which he stars alongside Equalizer 2 co-star Pedro Pascal.
The Equalizer trilogy, directed by Antoine Fuqua, has earned widespread acclaim for its gripping action and Washington’s compelling portrayal of a retired government assassin turned vigilante.
With fans eagerly anticipating the upcoming films, Washington’s return promises more justice-driven adventures to come.
