A devastating fire erupted early Wednesday morning, January 29, behind the Trinity Gas filling station in Dzorwulu, leaving a trail of destruction as several wooden structures and properties were consumed by the flames.
Initial reports suggest the fire may have started at a Nigerian restaurant located behind Awo’s Unisex Boutique building before spreading rapidly to nearby shops and businesses. Witnesses described the fire as sudden and uncontrollable, leaving residents and business owners scrambling to salvage their belongings.

Local residents rushed to the scene in an attempt to assist, but the damage was extensive. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire as the community grapples with the aftermath of this tragic incident.

The Ghana National Fire Service responded promptly to the emergency call, with fire trucks arriving on the scene just 15 minutes after the blaze was reported.
Firefighters worked to contain the flames, battling the fire to prevent it from spreading to other commercial properties.
