The lifeless body of Otuene Justina Nkang, a young woman who had been declared missing for several days, has been discovered.
Information’s surrounding her disappearance suggest that she was murdered by her supposed boyfriend, known only as Collins.
The tragic incident occurred along NTA Road, Mgbuoba in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The deceased, Justina Otuene Nkang, was a 300 Level Biological Chemistry student.She was reported missing four days ago.
She was said to be undergoing her Industrial Training attachment at a popular private hospital located in the D/Line axis of Port Harcourt, where she was last seen.
According to sources, Collins the young man in question, is alleged to be involved in online fraud activities commonly referred to as “yahoo yahoo” and even accused of having connections to ritualistic practices.
A source close to the matter confirmed that Otuene Justina Nkang had met a tragic end and had reportedly been brutally slaughtered by her alleged boyfriend, Collins.
Problem started when her boyfriend was allegedly trying to dispose of her dismembered body when he was accosted by the vigilante group at the Radio Estate where he’s resident.
She is believed to have visited her boyfriend in his apartment four days ago after the close of work and wasn’t heard from afterwards.
Reports says he cut out some of her vital organs before trying to dispose her body which was already decomposing.
At the time of discovery, he had already wrapped her body into a polythene bag and was intending to dispose the body.
The Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Polycarp Emeka, is expected to brief on the matter later today
