President-elect John Dramani Mahama has appointed a five-member team to lead the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) preparations for the launch of its Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).
A key component of Mahama’s campaign and a central focus of his 120-day social contract agenda, ORAL is designed to tackle corruption, recover misappropriated state assets, and implement robust accountability measures across Ghana’s public sector.

The initiative is a comprehensive approach to addressing systemic corruption and financial misconduct. By prioritizing the recovery of looted funds and resources, ORAL aims to enhance governance, restore public confidence in state institutions, and create fiscal space for national development.
A circular from the Office of the President-elect, dated December 18, introduced the five-member team, which will lead the ambitious effort to execute the ORAL program.
The members of the team include the following;
1. Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Chairman
2. Mr Daniel Domelovo-Former Auditor-General
3. COP(Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye
4. Mr Martin Kpebu-Private Legal Practitioner
5. Mr Raymond Archer-Investigative Journalist.
The concept of Operation Recover All Loot first gained public attention on September 4, 2024, when groups affiliated with the NDC organised a demonstration at the Ministry of Finance to protest what they described as “gross financial mismanagement” under the outgoing Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration.
The protest was attended by civil society groups, students, and private citizens.
