Dr. Ernest Koranteng, CEO of the Business Africa Consulting Group (The BAC Group), has made a passionate appeal for a surge in sports festivals nationwide.
His plea came during an appearance on Metro TV’s Sports Direct, hosted by Phil John Quartey, ahead of the eagerly anticipated All Star Festival in Tamale this June.

Dr. Koranteng stressed the significance of sports festivals in cultivating community spirit, promoting youth engagement in sports, and celebrating local culture.
He also highlighted the All Star Festival’s role in uniting people from diverse backgrounds, fostering a sense of community and pride through football and cultural displays.
Drawing from his experience as a journalist, Dr. Koranteng reminisced about the SESA sports festival, which brought together the security services in a grand spectacle.
He expressed concern about the current state of school sports at the Junior High, Senior High, and University levels, emphasizing the need for more sports festivals to revitalize community engagement and youth participation.
